Getting to know who you work with is always a good idea! So, here's a bit about me:

My journey has been an array of diverse experiences, each thread woven with dedication, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As the first person based in Africa for Silicon Valley-based Udemy - I managed various top tier clients and secured new reputable customers through  my business development efforts. I had the privilege to support and pioneer various L&D and learner engagement initiatives and strategies for key Enterprise organizations across Sub-Saharan Africa. Working closely and collaboratively with various levels of stakeholders - including Heads & C-Suite - has always been a key factor to shared success.

At The Student Hub, I embraced the challenge of establishing B2B capabilities, showcasing leadership and adaptability in a dynamic and a fast-moving scale-up landscape  - with the key focuses being to help build an eager and skilled future workforce and help solve the growing unemployment challenge faced in South Africa. The role of Commercial Growth Manager meant that I not only spearheaded new B2B functions and capabilities, but also cultivated a culture of growth and collaboration within the organization, as everyone's efforts impacts the student and customer journey overall. Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with top employers, educational institutions, and subject matter experts across various fields,  were a testament to my ability in navigating diverse landscapes to achieve critical outcomes for scale.

As an Educator and Subject-Matter Expert for commercial subjects at Shaw Academy, I played a pivotal role in planning, designing, and teaching the globally recognized Professional Diploma in Sales & Business Development. I crafted a comprehensive 4-module course, progressing from basic to proficient skill levels, integrating global best practices and learning, as well as educational learing frameworks such as Bloom's Taxonomy. My commitment to excellence in sales training and coaching is underscored by the courses' success and mentorship initiatives that arose from it.

My tenure at WEF Award winning Machine Learning lab, DataProphet,  delivered tremendous growth and diversity, not only in my skillset but also in the types and setting and locations, and customers and partners I worked with. As Territory Sales Manager for the Americas, intercultural intelligence and etiquette, as well as strategic business development strategies, were key to building out a new region for our business. Later, in the role of Global Alliances & Sales Operations Manager, I worked closely with the Co-Founder/CEO in implementing the strategic vision, planning and deploying process optimization, and driving various cross–functional initiatives for internal alignment.  Designing and implementing the company's first-ever defined sales and partner enablement strategy and program, was part of my “Ikigai”  - my sense of purpose and commitment to excellence and innovation in helping businesses thrive. Through cultivating and maintaining global partnerships, I gained valuable experience in relationship management and training facilitation in a global setting.

In the dual role at FCM Travel Solutions and Stage & Screen Travel within the Flight Centre Travel Group, I achieved new heights for these brands, securing flagship global accounts that helped prepare the business for future (larger) implementations. The markets for these brands were vastly different, and through my ability to adapt to new environments and customer demands, I was able to build strong brand sentiment and relationships across a wide variety of both corporate and creative settings.

My experience spans international markets, reflecting a global mindset which offers invaluable perspective that enables strategies that resonate across diverse skills, cultures and industries, ensuring inclusive and diverse initiatives.

My career experiences exemplifies the power of collaboration in achieving strategic goals. From designing sales playbooks to leading cross-functional workshops, I truly believe and promote that success is a collective and collaborative effort.
